Washington Nationals (38-37) @ Chicago White Sox (37-39)
The Nationals should be strolling into Chicago with a swagger tonight as the hottest team in baseball right now, instead however the air is filled with the fog of uncertainty. Jim Riggleman’s decision to leave the franchise immediately after the 1-0 victory against Seattle last night is a blip on what has otherwise been a great June for DC, and it will be interesting to see if that blip appears on any of the players radars tonight. Despite winning their last two, Chicago have been fairly poor this season, 18-18 on home soil; add into the equation a sizzling Jordan Zimmermann (especially away from home) and the Nat’s have a good chance to extend their journey into the dizzy heights of over .500 baseball.
Prediction - Nationals Win
